He was predeceased by : his parents, Thelma Thurman (Linder) and Grady Thurman. He is survived by : his wife Gayla "Gail" Thurman (Prewitt); his children, Jan Thurman of Lake Charles, Ray Thurman of Bridge City and Jimmy Thurman (Misty) of Beaumont; his grandchildren, Jesse Thurman, Taylor McDonald (Jake), Brayden Thurman and Libby Thurman; and his siblings, Glen Lummus (Sanford) of Orange and Charles "Butch" Thurman (Jackie) of Bridge City. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and other loving family and friends.
