He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Henry Howard and Edna Era Howard; his sister Roxie Attaway; and his son Leonard Alvin Howard, Jr. (Leonard). He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Holden Howard of Hemphill, TX; and his children, Randall Howard (Tandy) of Clarksville, TN and Gerri Howard Elsing (Larry) of Allen. He is also survived by friend and his love for his family.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Bishops Funeral Home (110 S 3rd St, McAlester, OK 74501). A graveside service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at the Oak Hill Memorial Park (1300 E Washington Ave, McAlester, OK 74501).
