She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Hale and Effie Irby Hale; her husband Iverson Alvah Stering; her children, Horace Sterling (Norma Sterling) and Linda Riley (Bill Riley); her siblings, Lori Hale, Huey Hale, Bea Hale, Violet Dean, Virgil Alexander and LaVerne Drewett; and her granddaughter April McClelland.
She is survived by: her daughter Regenia; and her son-in-law John Wahl of Milam. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, nineteen great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Riley Funeral Home (913 U. S. Hwy 190, Woodville, TX 75979). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
