He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia Ann Jordan Laird and Charles Lee Laird; his stepfather Joe Vickery; and his grandparents, Martha, Amos Laird, Eula and Pete Jordan.
He is survived by: his son Brandon Laird (Keesha) of Kountze; his grandchildren, Caden Laird (Makayla) of Kountze, Paxton Laird and Slade Laird of Kountze; his sisters, Deborah Walker (Wayne) of Vidor and Terri Neuville (Terry) of Prairieville; and his aunts, Mary Anderson (Johnny) of Kountze, Frances Smith (James) of Orange and Lanelle Bozeman of Lumberton. He is also survived by four nephews and two great nephews.
The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Old Hardin Cemetery.
