He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Contreras and Firrza Contreras; and his brother Rueben Contreras. He is survived by: his children, Mark Contreras (Crystal), Renee Rodriguez (Tony) and Janice Contreras; his siblings, Frank Contreras, Jessie Contreras (Dolores), Isabel Vasquez (Johnny) and Ellen Shelburne (Robert); his grandchildren, Justin (Skye), Mario, Haley, Alyssa and Joshua; and his great grandchildren, Skyler, Khloe, Ayila, Amen, Aeuryn and Aeryk. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Canon Funeral Home (1420 Farr St, Waller, TX 77484). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A rosary will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
