He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Mathis Goodrum (Larry) and Karen Hackett (Steve); his daughter-in-law Holly Mathis; his son Elton Raymond Mathis, Jr.; his brother Donald Mathis; his grandchildren, David Hackett, Bobbie West (Brian), Melissa McGonagill (Ian), Allison Hackett, Sarah Hackett, Charles Hackett, Andrew Mathis and Henry Mathis; his great grandchildren, Nora Rose McGonagill and Austin West; and his daughter Lori Pfeffer (Bobby). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
