He was predeceased by: his parents, Burl Smith and Wincie Smith (Buckner); his wife Barbara Ann Smith; his siblings-in-law, Neva (Adrian Burk) and Talmadge Dowden; Truman and John Wright.
He is survived by: his children, Gena Smith Gardiner (Phil) and Steve Smith; his sister JoAnne Dowden; his granddaughter Elizabeth (John Tyson); his great grandchildren, JT of Henderson and Hunter Tyson of Henderson; and his caregiver Traci Allen. He is also survived by cousins, extended family, many friends.
