She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Smock and Lois Smock (Carpenter); and her sister Carolyn Smock Williamson. She is survived by: her husband Wendell W. Yost of Henderson; her daughter Lisa Yost of Illinois; her brother Jim Smock; and her grandchildren, Lovall "Bubby" Holt Jr., Aaliyah Sanders, Julissa Holt and Kimora Carr. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Rusk County Memorial Gardens (5013 US-259, Henderson, TX 75652).
