We are sad to announce that on June 15, 2025, at the age of 85, DeWayne Yates of Henderson, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fineous Yates and Lillian E. Yates; and his siblings-in-law, Jan and Wayne Tipps. He is survived by: his wife Kay Yates of Henderson; his children, Walter Yates (Pam) of San Antonio, Darrel Yates (Kelly) of Austin, Robert Yates (Kandy) of Cleburne, Michael Yates (Cindy) of Rowlett and Melissa Burton of Henderson; his siblings, Theresia Johns of Tyler and Donovan Yates (Carol) of Houston; and his grandchildren, Kyler, Kolten, Wesley, Kaitlyn, Kimberly, Kyndall and Rudy. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and close friends.
