She was predeceased by: her parents, Houston Chapman and Flossie Chapman (Johnson); her husband Gene "Honey" Owens; her son-in-law Mark Ivy; and her sister Margaret Smelley.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Owens (Sherrie) of Henderson and Starla Ivy of Cushing; her sister Pauline Darragh of Henderson; her sisters-in-law, Brenda Finger of Nacogdoches and Martha Owens of Cushing; and her grandchildren, Dee Cruz (Tony), Brady Ivy, Hannah Owens and Trenton Owens (Clare). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
