She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Franklin and Viola Smith; her husband Eddie Leroy Scheer; her sister Charlotte Smith Duewall; and her son Eddie Franklin Scheer (Sallie Sue Sike Scheer).

She is survived by: her son Gary Charles Scheer; her grandchildren, Tonja Scheer, Betty Scheer Ellsworth, Shonnie Scheer, Leanna Scheer Sisson, Michele Scheer Berry and Gary Charles Scheer Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Brandt Ellsworth, Isabella Roggi, Vivian Roggi, Megan Sisson Mankin, Quinton Sisson, Lance Sisson, Elizabeth Sisson Michael, Camaren Berry, Ethan Berry, Logan Scheer, Cole Scheer and Henry Scheer. She is also survived by seven great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Henrietta or to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
