Jerry L. Payne Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry L. Payne of Henrietta, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 30, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Payne (Capps) and Floyd Anderson Payne; and his brothers, Clovis Payne and Kenny Howard. He is survived by: his wife Doris Lesh Payne; his children, Robert F. Payne (Cacy) of Amarillo, TX and Mary Margaret Stone (Cody Stone) of Bozeman, MT; his brother James D. Howard (Gloria); his sister-in-law Luan Howard; and his grandchildren, Merritt Vaughn (Charrissa), Max Muse, Aydan Allen, Jackson Payne and Brinkley Margaret Stone. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and "honorary" children and grandchildren.
