He was predeceased by: his parent Jackie Scott; his brother Marty Doyal; his niece Shelia Marie Doyal; and his grandparents, Ardelia "Sally", Nolan Robbins, Jerry "Doc" Doyal, Dorothy Pauline and Loy Byrd.
He is survived by: his mother Judy Doyal Byrd (Jackie Byrd); his brothers, Lenley Byrd, Terry Byrd, Christopher Byrd (Rachel), Quentin (Nicole Wolfe) and Mike Doyal (Shelia); his siblings' children, Rose, Kay, Ardelia, Novalee and Loy; and his aunts and uncles, Larry, Curtis, Avery, Dorothy and Cindy.
