He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Patterson and Leoma Patterson; his brother Larry Patterson; his son Frankie Carpenter; and his grandsons, Scooter Ross and Paul T. Morgan.
He is survived by : his wife Corkie Patterson of Henrietta; his children, Hubert Patterson of Bellevue, Steven Patterson (Jamie) of Corpus Christi, Michael Patterson (Mary) of South Dakota, J. W, Johnny Fancher of Henrietta, Ronda Benson (William) of North Carolina, Ruby Patterson of Bellevue, Lindsay Patterson (Elizabeth) of Geronimo, Michelle Keen (Tracy) of Lovington and Angie Swatsell (Jason Stephenville); and his siblings, Sharon Daniels of Ohio and Arlis Patterson of Wichita Falls. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
