She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Hernandez and Guadalupe Hernandez (Sauseda); and her siblings, Pedro Hernandez Jr., Josefina Martinez and Wanda Hernandez Silerio.
She is survived by: her husband Elpidio Ureste of Hereford, Texas; her children, Elpidio Ureste, Jr. (Rachel) of Happy, Carlos Ureste (Mary Jane) of San Antonio, Jesse Ureste (Angie) of Hereford, Alex Ureste (Melissa) of Bridgeport, Texas, Amada Ureste of Hereford, Texas, Guadalupe Ureste (Melissa Hernandez) of Hereford, Texas and Marisela Taylor (Logan) of Hereford, Texas; and her sisters, Elida Gonzales of Earth and Aurora Ureste (Juan) of Hereford, Texas.. She is also survived by her fifteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mendez & Mullins Family Funeral Home (105 Greenwood St, Hereford, TX 79045). A rosary was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the San Jose Catholic Church (735 Brevard St, Hereford, TX 79045). A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery (120 W Park Ave, Hereford, TX 79045).
