He is survived by: his children, David Mondragon of Hereford, Angela Rocha (Rudy) of Hereford, Daniel Luz Mondragon of Hereford and Whitney Villarreal (Roger) of Mesa, Arizona; his siblings, Viola Rasha of Amarillo and Leonard Mondragon (Isabel) of Garden City, Kansas; the mothers of child, Whitney Villarreal and Patty Cordova of Amarillo, Texas; his grandchildren, Matthew Mondragon, Emilee Mondragon, Ariel Rocha Pesina, Josiah Hernandez, Shane Rocha, Sierra Chapa, Savannah Chapa and Ryan Chapa; and his great grandchildren, Ethan Subealdea, Larry Pesina III, Sebastian Pesina, Legend Johnson and Kingston Johnson.
