She is survived by: her husband Jose Alvarez of Hereford, Texas; her children, June Pesina Torres of San Antonio and John Pesina III (Jessica) of Lubbock, Texas; her siblings, Bertha Hernandez (Joe) of Dallas, Betty Jean Hernandez (Lino) of Dallas, Debbie Martinez (Vince) of Amarillo, Texas and Florencio Gonzales Jr. (Rilla) of Amarillo, Texas.; and her granddaughters, April Pesina and Neydene Torres. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
