He is survived by : his parents, Armando Mejia (Sofia) and Victorina Ortega (Macario Arrendondo) of Hereford Texas; his wife Dora Ortega of Hereford Texas; his children, Briana Ortega, Mavis Ortega, Fabian Ortega of Hereford Texas, Jacinto Ortega of Hereford Texas, Jorge Ortega Jr. (Janelly Ortega) and Luis Carlos Ortega (Michelle Ortega); and his siblings, Melinda Croster (Jeremiah) of Houston Texas, Laticia Benitez of Hereford Texas, Armando Mejia and David Ortega of Hereford, Texas. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
