He is survived by: his parents, David Salinas and Maria Luz Salinas (Garcia) of Friona; his wife Maria Gloria Salinas of Hereford; his sons, Simon F. Salinas, Jr. (Raquel) of Friona, David B. Salinas (Ruby) of Amarillo, Juan Pablo Salinas of Hereford and Jimmy Salinas (Emily) of Hereford; his grandchildren, Fabian, Merary, Mateo, Sofia, Kaleb, Illyana, Isaac and Arilynn; and his siblings, Jose Salinas (Antonia) of Hereford, Mario Salinas (Martha) of Friona, Bernardo Salinas (Amelia) of Friona, Cornelio Salinas (Margarita) of Hereford, Serafin Salinas (Imelda) of Hereford, David Salinas, Jr. (Elvira) of Friona, Emma Zepeda (Salud) of Dimmitt, Aaron Salinas (Rufina) of Friona, Flor Ortega (Rafael) of Houston and Maria Rivera (Antonio) of Hereford. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home (105 Greenwood St, Hereford, TX 79045). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the San Jose Catholic Church (735 Brevard St, Hereford, TX 79045). A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery.
