He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Tilley and Macelle Tilley; his daughter Dana Stephenson; and his siblings, Jerry Tilley and Barbara Burleson.

He is survived by: his sister Kay Driscoll; and his children, Belinda Bullen, Shawna Blasingame, Melissa Jackson, Matt Tilley and Monica White. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in David's memory to any Mart ISD scholarship fund.
