She was predeceased by: her parents, Buell Edgar Ruffin and Myrtis Marie Gray; and her siblings, Curtis Ruffin, Elizabeth Blackwell, Dorothy Smith, Butch Ruffin, Carolyn DuPont, Frances Bullock, Roger Ruffin and Connie Ruffin.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Scott Richardson (Richard) of Hewitt, Sherrie Scott Bourgoyne (Brett), Andrew DeWayne Scott and Bradley Steven Scott; and her sister Helen Ruffin-Chambers. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Gardens Funeral Home & Crematorium (8220 Woodway Dr, Woodway, TX 76712). Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
