It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leandro Garcia Sr. of Hidalgo, Texas, born in Mercedes, Texas, who passed away on January 6, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Estanislado Garcia and Petra Garcia; his wife Felicitas Garcia; his daughters, Socorro Rendon and Trinidad Perez of Virginia; his great grandchild Vanessa Garcia; and his siblings, Estanislado Garcia, Ismael Garcia, Celia Garcia, Trinidad Garcia of Virginia, Maria Tomasa Lopez and Francisca Luna.
He is survived by : his children, Eleazar Garcia (Irma), Eduardo Garcia, Leandro Garcia Jr. (Berenice), Everardo Garcia, Heliodoro Garcia (Ruth Miriam), Guillermo Garcia (Alessandra), Elias Garcia (Roxanne), Maria Elida Garcia, Gloria G. Molina, Dora Alicia Gonzales, Felicitas Garcia and Marta Irene Juarez (Jose); and his sisters, Olivia Elizondo and Ninfa Chavez. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
