He was predeceased by : his parents, Antonio Ortiz and Francisca Rendon Ortiz; his wife Graciela Ortiz; and his son Sergio Ortiz. He is survived by : his children, Ricardo Ortiz Jr. (San Juana), Yolanda Briones, Olga Ortiz, Alma Ibarra (Felipe), Jose Mario Ortiz (Sara), Norma A. Sifuentes, Juan Antonio Ortiz (Patricia), Esmeralda Montes (Alfonso) and Fide Tsosie (Kennard). He is also survived by 35 grandchildren; numerous family and friends.
