We announce the death of Brian Alan Remkes (Highlands, Texas), born in Baytown, Texas, who passed away on September 1, 2026, at the age of 58. Brian will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his father Dale Remkes; and his grandparents, Willie, Alice Haluska, Floyd and Agnes Remkes.
He is survived by: his wife Aurelia Aleman-Remkes; his daughter Megan Nichols (Seth); his stepsons, Alejandro and Rodrigo Monge; his grandson Trevor Nichols; his mother Connie Walding (Scott); and his brother Jason Remkes. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sterling-White Funeral Home & Cemetery (11011 Crosby Lynchburg Rd, Highlands, TX 77562). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sterling-White Cemetery (11011 Crosby Lynchburg Rd, Highlands, TX 77562).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mont Belvieu Methodist Church, Building Fund (10629 Eagle Drive, Mont Belvieu, Tx. 77580) or Baytown.
