He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Cowley and Margaret Cowley; his son Josh Vaught; and his siblings, Kathleen Killen and Kenneth Cowley.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his daughter Ashley Easterly (Josh); his grandchildren, Noah Householder, Damon Vaught and Cameron Whitaker; and his nephew Timmy Luedicke (Debra). He is also survived by his numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; his many cousins.
