He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Custer Smith and Martha Jewel McDonald; his brother Ron; and his wives, Sheila and Joyce.
He is survived by: his children, Deanna Becker (Guy), Audrey Marsh (Robert) and Christopher Smith (Melanie); his stepdaughter Amanda Sweet; and his brothers, Craig (Linda Smith) and Larry (Susan Smith). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A dedicated family man and community servant, Phillip was an active volunteer at his church and the Boys and Girls Club, where he was well-known for his contributions to local fish fries.
