He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Veselka and Martha Polasek Veselka; his great grandchild Patton Veselka; and his siblings, Daniel Veselka, Eleanora Kana (Benno) and Delores Strnadel (Leroy).
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Gabrysch Veselka of Hillje; his children, Douglas Veselka (Donna) of Inez, Kathy Veselka Foster (Joe) of Palacios, Andrew Veselka (Debbie) of Louise and Carol Veselka Huffman (Charlie) of Katy; his grandchildren, Daniel Veselka, Derrek Veselka (Megan), Ryan Foster, Todd Foster (Kendra), Brittany Veselka Payne (Scott), Joshua Veselka (Marilyn), Chelsea Veselka Davis (Hunter) and Elizabeth Huffman Ballard (Joshua); his great grandchildren, Tanner Veselka, Raegan Veselka, Weston Veselka, Carson Veselka, Landon Veselka, Drew Payne, Marigold Ballard and Wallace; and his sister Norma Veselka Kruppa (late LeRoy).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Triska Funeral Home (612 Merchant St, El Campo, TX 77437-3440). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Andrew's Catholic Church (270 St Andrew St, El Campo, TX 77437). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials in memory of Jerome may be made to St. Andrew's Cemetery Fund.
