With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Fern Versluis of Hillsboro, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Colson and Vivian Colson; and her husband Robert "Bob" Versluis of Mary's Cemetery. She is survived by: her great grandchildren, Deacon, Owen and Brooke; her children, Diedre Anne Versluis of Aurora, CO, Deborah Anne Knoll (Jason) of Hendersonville, TN and John Robert (Kate) of Hillsboro, TX; her grandchild Ashleigh Harris (BJ) of Pleasant View, TN; her children, Emma Grace Knoll of Buffalo, NY, Alexander and Alaina Versluis of Hillsboro, TX; her sister Loretta Lutz (Mel); and her niece Heather Lashmett (Darren). She is also survived by numerous great-nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leadership Greater Hillsboro Inc. Robert Versluis Memorial Scholarship.
