He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Ward of Carrollton, Texas, Keith Burt (Stephanie) of Silverthorne and John Burt (Becky Hale Encizo); his grandchildren, Lucas Ward (Kelly) of Lakewood, Colorado and Breanne Ward of Carrollton, Texas; his great grandchildren, Lincoln and Bennett Ward of Lakewood, Colorado; his siblings, Mary Sue Kendall of Covington, Texas and Jeff Burt of Itasca, Texas; his sister-in-law Mildred Burt of Itasca, Texas; his half-sisters, Jane McVaugh and Dettye Broughton; and his pet Barney of Buena Vista, Colorado. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
