She was predeceased by: her parents, O. T. Slaughter and Regina Slaughter; her siblings, Orville Slaughter and Wanda Sue Slaughter; her great-great-grandparent Colonel James Fannin; and her son Turner Neal Hennig.
She is survived by: her husband John D. Hennig of Clifton, Texas.; her children, John T. Hennig (Grace) of Whitney and Jennifer Register (Glen) of Hillsboro; her daughter-in-law Jill Hennig-Jerrett of Stephenville; and her grandchildren, Jaron Trout (Matt) of Midlothian, Jade Bumgarner (Evan) of Mansfield, Scott Hennig (Scarlet) of Hillsboro, Fisher Hennig (Abby) of Whitney, Brayden Hennig (Macie) of West, Savannah Albright (Grant) of Midland and Sophie Hennig (Hayden) of West. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren along with many other friends and family.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors (2495 Corsicana Hwy, Hillsboro, TX 76645). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 3838 TX-22, Hillsboro, TX 76645.
