She was predeceased by: her daughters, Cheryl Best Zimmerle and Christina "Tina" Best Fish. She is survived by: her husband Russell Cornitius; her son Robert Best; and her stepchildren, Tammy, Robbin, Mindy and Amber (Geoff). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Galveston Memorial Park (7301 Memorial St, Hitchcock, TX 77563).
