He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Marek and Mary Marek; his wife Ann Marek; his children, Edward, Jr. and Christine; and his siblings, Sydney Smesny, Raymond, Bernard, Adolf and Johnny Marek.
He is survived by: his children, Patsy Beall, Cynthia Sterling (Robbie) and Leo Marek; his grandchildren, Karee Carter (Scott), Tim McKinzie, Raymond McKinzie (Elizabeth), George McKinzie (Jackie), Christopher Beall (Jodie) and Steven Beall (Whitney); his great grandchildren, Sharon (Jake), Ginny Murphy, Melanie, Kristyn, Matthew Carter, Gage McKinzie, Colton Zaleski, Caleb, Cadin, Alexisia McKinzie, MaKinley, Piper, Hayden, Madison Beall, Andrew, Lauren, Lea Venegas, Rylee, Johnny Ritchie, Harley Maricle and Danika Deshotel; and his friends, Lorri Clendenin, Rachelle (Sam), Tony, Tommie Gray, Roberta (Cale) and Leo Yingling of Illinois.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hayes Funeral Home Chapel (10412 Hwy 6, Santa Fe, TX 77510). A rosary will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (10114 Hwy 6, Hitchcock, TX 77563).
