She was predeceased by: her parents, John Walton Priest and Mary Thomas Priest; her husband Henry Wulf; her brother John Priest; and her siblings-in-law, Leslie Wulf, Louis Alessi, Jr., Freddie Obendorfer, Robert Vanzant and Iris Alessi.
She is survived by: her children, Patti Hanssard, Ronnie Wulf (Kimberly) and Jason Wulf (Tamara); her sister Betty Obendorfer; her sister-in-law Shirley Vanzant; her grandchildren, Justin Hanssard (Erica), Tamara Chapman Ryan (Patrick), Taylor Wulf Kayla (Ashley), Carter Wulf, Lilly Wulf and Carter Robertson; and her great grandchildren, Aiden Hanssard, Lincoln Hanssard, Waylon Chapman, Rylee Chapman, Tenley Wulf, Ryker Wulf, Sawyer Wulf, Fallon Wulf, Ensley Wulf and Zander Gonzalez. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In 2023, Ruby received the Distinguished Alumni Award from the Hitchcock Education Foundation for her loving contributions to the school and community.
