He is survived by: his wife Esther Escamilla; his children, Matika R. Ortegon (Joshua) of Hondo and Roland Ramirez (Misty) of Needville; his siblings, Lucy R. Castillo of Crystal City, Letty R. Ramirez of Minnesota, Betty R. Torres of Austin, John L. Ramirez of Austin and Pat L. Ramriez of Crystal City; and his grandchildren, Kade Ryan Ramirez and Tessa Riley Ramirez.
