He is survived by: his wife Josie Correa; his children, Richard Correa, Jr., Joseph Correa, Jimmy Correa and Amanda Correa Garza; and his siblings, Rebecca Sanchez, Estella Quintanilla and Candelario Correa. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
