He is survived by: his parents, Michelle Gilbert (Spencer) and Chris Gilbert; his siblings, Shawn and Sydney; his grandmother Charlotte Spencer; his aunt Tina Spencer; his uncle Norman Gilbert; and his cousins, Shannon Brim, Alexandra Gilbert, Kimberlea Gilbert, Trenton Spencer and James Gilbert.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Angelman Syndrome Foundation http://www.angelman.org. or the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics http://www.cureangelman.org. in Aiden's name.
