He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Collin Frank Cain and Elaine Wall Cain; his wife Patsy Harvey Cain; his children, Sandy Prater (Paul) of Santa Fe, Jeromy Cain (Mary) of Rosharon, Josh Cain (Shannon) of Houston and Sam Cain (Janice) of Santa Fe; and his sister Linda Cain. He was also cherished by 18 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, church family and treasured friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saltgrass Cowboy Church (5622 FM 646 Rd, Santa Fe, TX 77510).
