He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie Blair and Franklin Blair; his son Franklin Kelvin (Lisa); his wife Earlyn Nelson; his siblings, Lorine, Corine and Algie; and his grandson Nicolas.
He is survived by: his children, Allison Lenore and George Kervin (Jeanie); his grandchildren, Alicia, John, Shaun and Chelsea (Hondrea); and his great grandchild Aaliyah.
