He was predeceased by: his parents, C. M. Pitchaimuthu Gounder and S. Antoniyammal; and his brothers, George Joseph Muthu and Francis Kantharaj. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Barrett; his children, Neesha Kurian (Bobby) and Deepak (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Drennan, Madeline, Mireya, Kaleb, Kieran, Blaise, Mia, Annaliese and Julia; and his sisters, Vimala Victor and Dr. Angelina Prema (Vincent). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, and dear friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (8200 Roos Rd, Houston, TX 77036).
