He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Smith Tate; his daughters, Amanda Renee Gunter (Gregory) and Allana DeAnne Coleman (Wesley); his stepchildren, Rodney Wayne Tate (Karen) and Courtney Denise Carter (David); his grandchildren, Sarah Joyce Gunter, Luke Alexander Gunter, Jessica Nicole Coleman, Michael Dewey Coleman, Amber Osborne Seifert, Sarah Nichole Osborne, Justin Richard Tate, Clay Lee Tate and Kennedy Grace Carter; and his great grandchild Waylon Bryce Gunter.
