It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anna Lorene Vasquez in Houston, Texas, who passed away on February 25, 2026, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Roy Vasquez; and her brothers, Martin and Bernard Vasquez. She is survived by: her husband Cliff; her grandchildren, Olivia, Samuel and Claire; her mother Esperanza "Hope" Herrera Vasquez of Corpus Christi, Texas; her children, Ryan Vasquez Contreras of Corpus Christi, Texas and Katrina Vasquez Pemberton (Ian) of Baltimore, Maryland.; her granddaughters, Charlotte Contreras and Katherine Pemberton; and her siblings, Terri Vasquez, Tinko Vasquez, Edward Vasquez (Sharon), Edmund Vasquez (Carrie), Marcella Vasquez, Glenn Vasquez, Jerome Vasquez (Faye) and Gary Vasquez (Mary-Margaret). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Seaside Funeral Home Chapel (4357 Ocean Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78412). A rosary will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (3350 S Alameda St, Corpus Christi, TX 78411). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Rose Hill Memorial Park (2731 Comanche St, Corpus Christi, TX 78408).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Lorene's memory to MD Anderson Cancer Center.
