He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Jesus, Marie Moreno of Sinton, TX, Blasa Deleon of Sinton, TX, Johnny, Grace Sandoval of Houston, TX and Chevy Gurrola of Houston, TX; his grandfather Victor Gurrola, Sr. of Magnolia, TX; his great-aunts, Olivia Villanueva, Esther Moreno of Houston, TX, Mary Deleon Thomas of San Antonio, TX and Smith of Sinton, TX; and his uncle Genovevo "Gene" Moreno of Houston, TX.

He is survived by: his grandparents, Jesus, Eloisa Moreno of Houston, TX, Andres and Ruth Esquivel of Houston, TX; his parents, Mary Moreno of Houston, TX and Michael (Bobbie Jo Gurrola); his stepbrother Sean Alonzo Fernandez of Houston, TX; and his uncles, Steven J. Moreno, Victor (Desiree Gurrola), Jesus (Angelica Covarrubias) and Jose "Hugo" Navarro (Maria Esquivel). He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home (120 S McCall Ave, Sinton, TX 78387). A rosary was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 7:00 PM. A Mass was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (725 Sodville St, Sinton, TX 78387).
