She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugo Mittendorf and Lilian Wisian Mittendorf; her sister Claudia Skoog; her brother-in-law Herb Skoog; and her sister Elouise.
She is survived by: her husband Bob Gibbs of Houston, TX; her children, Janice Lynn Jackson (Rusty), Robert Kenneth "Ken" Gibbs (Ruthie) and John Hugo Gibbs (Wendy); and her grandchildren, Brent Jackson (Ashley), Rachel Halphen (Scott), Megan Gibbs (Jason), Michael Gibbs and Lilian Gibbs. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home (13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079).
