It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean McClaugherty of Houston, Texas, who passed away on September 22, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Lee Murray and Gladys Lee Linscombe Murray; and her husband Travis Harold McClaugherty. She is survived by: her daughter Kelley McClaugherty Trimble; her siblings, Ronnie Murray and Kay Beck (George Beck); her grandchildren, Matthew, Michael McClaugherty, Amy Trimble Chandler (C. Ryan Chandler) and Timothy Trimble (Courtney Trimble); and her great grandchildren, Lily McClaugherty, Beckham Chandler, Baker Chandler and Brooklyn Chandler. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Memorial gifts may be made to South Main Baptist Church in Barbara's honor.
