She was predeceased by: her parents, James Kent, Sr. and Ruby Bell Kent; her son Joseph Christopher "Bowlegg" Jackson; her siblings, Samuel Leon "Shane" Kent, Rajer Faye Golden and Mary Kent Dixon; her siblings-in-law, Charlene Kent and Mansfield Golden; and her daughter Jamika Williams.
She is survived by: her siblings, Charles "Buddy" Kent, James Kent, Jr., Phillip Kent, Sr. (Jan) and Willie Lee Kent (Cassandra); and her sons, Tra'Cedrick Williams and Jabari Williams. She is also survived by relatives, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 14000 Chrisman Rd, Houston, TX 77039. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
