She was predeceased by: her parents, August Simpson and Dorothy Simpson; her husband Jake Morris; her daughter Carmall Morris Robinson; her brothers, Lee Simpson and Cornell Simpson; and her grandson Lindale Morris.
She is survived by: her children, Lionel Morris (Pauline) and Lamell Morris (Iman); her children-in-law, Demetrian, Leslie (Jeff), Desiree and Donald; her siblings, James Simpson (Brenda), Charles (Celeste), Johnathan (Marla), Gary Simpson, A. Kendrick Simpson, Romero Simpson and Augustine Simpson; and her siblings-in-law, Kenneth Morris, Helen Morris and Augusta Morris. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
