With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Bob Bighouse (Houston, Texas), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Bob left this world on February 27, 2026 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Bighouse and William Bighouse; his sister Delores Ann Fleming; his wife Janie (Elizabeth Jane); and his children, Robert William (Bobby), James Patrick (Jimmy), Elizabeth Ann Geiger (Beth) and Joan Marie Burleson (Joannie).
He is survived by: his sister Rita Jane Crissinger; and his daughter Julie (Linda). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Waltrip Funeral Directors (1415 Campbell Rd, Houston, TX 77055). A vigil service will be held on Monday, March 9th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church (11720 Joan of Arc Dr, Houston, TX 77024).
Donations can be made in his honor to the Korean War Veterans Association. ALS Society, Alzheimer's Association or the charity of your choice.
