It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Hecht (Houston, Texas), who passed away on May 17, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister France; his father Max Hecht; and his brother Larry Hecht. He is survived by: his wife Celine Hecht; his children, Janet Mintz (Jeff), Ronny Hecht (Diana) and Jerry Hecht (Arlene); his grandchildren, Andrew Hecht, Adam Mintz (Anastasia), Michelle Guenther (Michael), Bradley Mintz (Tamara), Ryan Hecht, Jeremy Mintz (Samantha), Jordan Hecht and Collin Hecht; his great grandchildren, Levi, Emmie Guenther and Asher Mintz; and his sister Simmy Diskind. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
