David Charles De Sola Morris Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Charles De Sola Morris of Houston, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 13, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessel Morris and Rebecca "Bex" Morris; and his former wife Susan Farb Morris. He is survived by: his spouse Houstonian Susan Farb; his daughters, Hannah Morris and Shara Morris; his sons-in-law, Gabi Band and David Abelson; his grandchildren, Micah, Ayelet Band and Lior Abelson; his brothers, Jonathan Morris (Elisabeth Morris) and Henri (Ruth Morris); and his mother-in-law Sylvia Farb. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Congregation Emanu El (1500 Sunset Blvd, Houston, TX 77005). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Emanu El Memorial Park (8341 Bissonnet St, Houston, TX 77074).
