He is survived by: his wife Mary Vargas; his grandchildren, Angela Ojeda (Cirilo), Ashley Anderson and Chloe Vargas; his great grandchildren, Ava Ojeda, Nathan Ojeda, Austin Abbott, Grady Hamm, Miles Hamm, Hudson Hamm and Harper Hamm; and his siblings, Vicenta Delgado (Joe) of Waelder, Velia Escareno of Katy, Lolly Almaraz (Rudy) of Katy, Sally Sanchez (Carlos) of Katy, Rachel Martinez (Frank) of Waelder, Mary Lou Munoz (Nicholas) of Houston and Johnny Vargas (Liz) of Hutto.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (613 US-90, Waelder, TX 78959). A rosary will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Waelder Community Cemetery (824 D Ave #700, Waelder, TX 78959).
